Guild Mission Statement

 The "Knights of Good" is a nonprofit organization of passionate gamers whose goal is to enhance the lives of our Guildies and our fellow game players. Our priorities reflect the concerns and interests of all gamers as well as our desire to "give back" to the in-game communities. Our mission is to assist, educate and inspire as we quest, kill and loot.

BASIC GUILD RULES

  1. Be Good.
  2. Help thy fellow Guildie before helping yourself. Pretend they are the girlfriend in the movie and you're the guy who's secretly in love with her, but she's only thought of you "like a brother" until you throw yourself in front of the sniper's bullet aimed for her heart. Then it's too late, you die, and hero gets her. Be the dead guy for your Guildies.
  3. Know your class. Play it well. Performance audits will be conducted biannually. Be prepared to defend your record.
  4. Do not yell or attack or be rude after wiping. We are a team in life and death! Except when you are late. See rule #7.
  5. The Guild Bank is not an ATM or even your Mom's wallet. 1 to 1 ratio please.
  6. Raid attendance is mandatory. All raids, every raid. See the schedule page for specifics.
  7. Lateness for scheduled guild events will be punished with an equal number of gold pieces per minute of tardiness. In addition, you will be globally muted for the duration of the raid. Consider it a group shunning.
  8. Raid loot will be distributed by an arbitrary consensus. A database will be maintained via Excel by the Guildmaster to determine "need". Decisions are final, there are no appeals. People's Court doesn't have internet jurisdiction, FYI.
  9. The Guild is considered a PG organization. PG-13 after 9pm. Please keep language to the appropriate rating. For a guideline, think "Home Alone" vs. "Panic Room".
  10. What happens in the Guild stays in the Guild. Information leaks or off-site forum posts detrimental to the Guild will be traced back by qualified individuals (Officer Zaboo). You WILL be caught.
  11. Friends and relatives must be screened like any other recruit. Just because you share genome or someone gave you a kidney does not qualify them to be a Knight of Good. NO EXCEPTIONS
  12. Sexual harassment is strictly forbidden. Sexual innuendo is discouraged.
  13. Should a member leave the Guild, they will be ineligible to rejoin the Guild for infinity. Straying from the path of Good is a choice best not taken lightly.
